Maybe? I just finished the series last night and am so BAFFLED. I think it's interesting Stephanie doesn't want to talk, and perhaps it is because she doesn't want to have to implicate Jay. The way Wilds tells it Syed pressured him to help dispose of Lees body. 1 day agoA judge on Monday approved a motion to vacate the murder conviction of Adnan Syed the subject of the first season of the popular Serial podcast who has maintained he is. To simply take a crime one of his other friends did, and slip Adnan into the story instead, doesn't seem far-fetched. Girlfriend of Jay Wilds close friend of Adnan Syed. It's clear he has lapses in judgement, he doesn't seem to be honest about what happened. You know, considering he is the self-proclaimed "criminal element" of the area. I could easily see Jay being pissed about the friendship between Stephanie and Adnan and taking it out on him by framing him for a murder perhaps he, or one of his other friends could have carried out. As a student of Grove City College, I pledge to do my work faithfully with honesty in accordance with my calling. He spent plenty of time with Jenn, a friendship which I think any girl would have issue with. Yet, he didn't seem concerned about spending time with her on her birthday. Jay suggested going to the mall to find a present for Stephanie, but Adnan said he had to 'go do something,' and told Jay to drop him at school, letting Jay borrow his car and phone. He claims that Adnan threatened her, and that he did everything out of fear for her safety. In Wilds' newest version of events, Adnan was in his car with Jay instead of being at his last period of school. Josee, Jay, Mickey, Jen, Tom, Laurie, Miles, Rock, Spud, Ryan, Stephanie. I think it is so odd that nobody questions what Jay was doing on Stephanie's birthday. Before the release of the sequel, a third film was in development and will set.
